Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These terms apply to the use of VerifyVAT, including the website, the dashboard and the API.

1. Provider

VerifyVAT is operated by DEEPXCLUSIVE SARLS, Rue d’Arlon 20, L-9155 Grosbous, Luxembourg (VAT ID LU32633157). Contact: info@deepxclusive.com.

2. Scope and purpose

VerifyVAT is a free service. It was developed for our own systems (tunerportal.com, ecufile.eu, deepxclusive.com) and is also made available to other users.

The service is aimed at businesses. By registering you declare that you act for a business and accept these terms.

3. The service

The service validates VAT identification numbers live through VIES, the European Commission’s system. For every request we store the result, our own request code and, where VIES issues one, the consultation number.

Validation results come from VIES and the national tax administrations. We have no influence on them.

4. Account and credentials

You must give correct details when registering and store a valid VAT ID of your own. It is sent to VIES as the requester with every request. Without it the API cannot be used.

You keep your password and API keys confidential and are responsible for all requests made with your keys. You revoke a compromised key immediately in the dashboard.

5. Acceptable use

Abuse, circumventing limits, attacks on the service and passing your keys to third parties are not permitted. We set the monthly quota and per-minute limit per account and may change them.

In case of violations, or to avert risks, we may block keys or accounts.

6. Free of charge, no availability commitment

Use is free of charge. We provide the service on a best-effort basis but do not guarantee any particular availability. VIES can also be unavailable, which we cannot influence.

We may change, restrict or discontinue the service. Where possible we announce material changes in advance.

7. No tax or legal advice

VerifyVAT provides information from VIES and documents it. This is not tax or legal advice. You remain responsible for deciding which evidence you need and whether an authority accepts a consultation number.

8. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence and injury to life, body or health, and where the law mandatorily provides for liability.

Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damage, loss of profit or loss of data. For a free service we accept no further liability.

9. Data protection

How we process personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Term and termination

You can stop using the service at any time and ask for your account to be deleted by email. We may block or end accounts in case of violations or if the service is discontinued.

11. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. We will communicate material changes by email or in the dashboard. If you continue to use the service afterwards, the new terms apply.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

Luxembourg law applies. To the extent permitted, the courts of Luxembourg have jurisdiction.
